Alright, I know what you're all thinking. The mixperiment went missing last month. I won't lie to you about what happened: the month of may got sucked into a wibbly, swirly vortex.

However, June is staying put as far as I know, which means the saga of the music exchange can, nay must, continue. This month's theme surrounds the mystique. Magic, unsolved mysteries, spirit photography, cryptozoology, superstition, smoke and mirrors, witch hunting, paranormal activity, UFO's, and anything else that could possibly explain the missing mixperiment. The answer will be revealed in the coming weeks, with your help.

Come on down to the Government street entrance of the Bay Centre, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, Friday, June 27th. You'll know me, I'll have the ladybug hat on. Happy mixing!

April showers bring May flowers, and another installment of the mixperiment. This month's theme is "Divine Intervention". Turn your music player of choice to shuffle, and cram as much as you can onto one cd, no matter how silly, loud, stupid, out of place, or embarrassing it may be. Don't play around with the sequence, and for heaven's sake, don't manipulate the tracks in any way! Put some faith in your music library and go to it!

The weather`s getting reliable (sort of!), so I`m going to visit my old watering hole, and rock this one out on the bench at the Government Street Entrance of The Bay Center; Saturday, April 26th; 3:00pm-5:00pm.

How Do you Say "It's Over"?

The next installment will take place Sunday March 30th from 12:00-2:00. Once again, I will be ready with my lady bug hat, drinking tea at Qv's (1701 Government at Fisgard).

After last month's run of secret crushes, some of them were bound to head towards splitsville. What better way to tell them "We're through" than with a mix cd! So, tell all your friends, and come down with your break-up specials. Hope to see you there!

The next mixperiment is fast approaching! Friday, February 29th, from 3:00-5:00 pm. This month I will be waiting at Qv's (1701 Government at Fisgard), with the perfect mix for you and everyone you know. Remember, this month's theme is to create a mix for someone you like but is unaware of this fact! Happy mixing.

Fear not, my friends! The mixperiment returns for February, with a whole new theme to get things going. The date? February 29th. The theme? A mix for someone you've got a crush on that does not know it. Be sneaky, be coy, be secretive, be blatantly obvious!The time and place?TBA!.

End of Year Hiatus

The mixperiment taking an end of the year break. It will return, bright eyed and bushy tailed, in late January. The date and theme will be posted early in the new year.

Next Up!

November's theme is Strings of all type and any form. The next installment will take place on, Friday, November 30th, from 3:00pm-5:00pm on a bench just outside the Government Street Entrance of the Bay Center, just the same as the last one. Since the rainy season is upon us, there's a good chance I'll have to cower inside on a bench, but never fear. Just search the general area for the ladybug hat, and you'll be right where you're needed.
